Bare Elements for Functionality

I am trying to add the Core Shooter Elements to my scene so that enemies will get hit with projectiles and die. I have applied the Game Entity to my player and the enemy. Have applied the bullet script to my projectile and enabled Damage on Collision, but the enemies detect no impact or damage. Nor do they move toward the Player.

So I guess my question is, what are the minimum elements I have to have in a scene to get the system to function? I was hoping that it was modular and did not have a lot of dependencies on other elements.
 
-Does the bullet script work without the weapon launcher?

Hi,

I'll take the steps you have done, and provide some check points

1- I have applied the Game Entity to my player and the enemy
* Ok, have you assign different factions?
* Do you have colliders on your entities ?

2-Have applied the bullet script to my projectile and enabled Damage on Collision
* Damage on Collision is only for damage between entities themself.
* Do you have correctly setup the layermak on your projectile ?  (by default is nothing, you have to choose Default or whatever you want

3-Does the bullet script work without the weapon launcher
*weapon launcher => I suppose that you talk about the component weapon ?
Yes of course, but before you use weapon launcher, Do you have created a weapon for your projectile ?
* I suppose that you use Armory component to use you weapon on your player ?

If these few checkpoints do not allow you to find the issue

I believe i have done all the steps you have talked about. My project involves using Oculus Touch controllers so maybe a Skype call would be best.
